This resource matrix was developed for the Edmonds School District to support educators in implementing the John McCoy (lulilaš) Since Time Immemorial (STI): Tribal Sovereignty in Washington State curriculum alongside the Tulalip Tribes Sovereignty Curriculum in grades 6–12 social studies.

Special recognition and gratitude are extended to Dr. Chelsea Craig, Curriculum Editor, and Lisa Sofie, Curriculum Writer, whose leadership, scholarship, and collaboration with Tulalip Tribal members have made these tribally developed resources available to educators throughout Washington. Their work has created authentic, place-based learning experiences that deepen students' understanding of the history, government, sovereignty, and contemporary life of the Tulalip Tribes while supporting statewide implementation of the John McCoy (lulilaš) Since Time Immemorial curriculum.

This matrix is organized according to the Washington State recommended Social Studies Scope and Sequence. Navigation tabs for each grade level are located at the bottom of the embedded document, allowing teachers to quickly locate resources aligned with their course and grade level. The Washington State recommended Scope and Sequence is also provided below for reference.
